On August 10th at 7:10PM, Hanley will officially play a game against the Miami Marlins as a member of the Los Angeles Dodgers.

I'd like to mark the occasion by getting as many of us board members and our closest friends and family together to heckle hanley during each of his at-bats and to show him our resentment for his poor performance and attitude as a Florida/Miami Marlin.

I propose a get together in section 314 above home plate and above both broadcasting booths.

Lets see how many of us can we get.

I sat in section 313 for 1 game (friend's season tickets) & you gotta REALLY yell loud if you want the players on the field to be able to hear you. The seats are so far up that Billy can't even come close to shooting a t-shirt up there with his gun thingy.

If your goal is to annoy Hanley then try getting seats in the lower level. If your goal is just to try and make it sound on TV/Radio like everyone hates Hanley then go ahead and sit in the upper level.

I'd much rather boo the front office/ownership.

For getting rid of an awful contract and getting a very good pitcher back? Yeah awful job guys.

A very good pitcher after one game? Ok. And no, not for the Hanley trade, but for making stupid decsions that has kept this team out of the playoffs the last 9 years.

No not after one game. After him being a solid prospect, dominating the minors, and pitching very well so far in the majors despite his record because of lack of run support. Most LAD fans thought he would be there future #2 behind kershaw (has a lower rookie era than kershaws$

He may or may not be good. Only time will tell. Andrew Miller was supposed to be pretty good, too.

And Clsyton Kershaw was too. Oh he did end up good. this dude has awesome stuff. Be more optomistic about the guy and enjoy watching him grow into a very good #3 behind JJ and buehrle

If he's a #3 behind Buehrle whose just been a solid "innings eater" his whole career then I won't be really impressed.

Anyway, this thread really has nothing to do with whether or not O. is the "real thing" or not after just 1 game as a Marlin.

What's the point?

Baby Hanley sucked for the last 3 years. He's gone, for good reason. We're 36 million better off. He contributed greatly to a losing cause for his first 4 years. So it goes.

No reason to act like a bunch of a$$hole Philly or Mutt fans.

Ignoring his giant ego would be more of an insult. Narcissists hate that.

agreed, no point in booing the guy. What's done is done.

Besides he tore apart the league in his first 5 years, not like the guy never did anything here.

Usually the upper deck is the cheaper seats and we can get a group together all at once. In the lower level it'd be next to impossible to take over a section.

Good insight though.

We should bring some noise makers too- maybe one of those police microphones.

He's ignorant to the fact that he underperformed, was hated by is teammates, and didn't deserve the dignity of going to an anchor MLB franchise

His overall attitude when he was here spoke volumes, and I'm not convinced he wanted to be a Miami Marlin at the end of last year when we signed Reyes.

such as dodgers- like he's wanted to be traded to since he got here.

Remember him wanting to be in Boston 2 or so years ago?

Or Him Reacting to a fan on twitter with Apartamento 70 (his contract value)?

Or even him booting the ball, and taking a jog in the park?

He deserves a FU- but at the same time I'm not opposed to an underrated chant if he'd understand it. A FU is pretty easy to understand in any language.

Fortunately we can use stats this year and see that he has preformed well.
