Koyie Hill signed

To me, its irrelevant either way. Mathis won't be out that long, our backup will only get a handful of starts before Mathis returns. Hill or Skipworth, who cares.

I care a little, considering whatever garbage they sign or promote is probably going to be better than Evan Mathis, who is awful at just about everything.

Oh I agree with u 100% but the FO is dead set on having Mathis be the backup. So in that sense the replacement doesn't matter because when Mathis is healthy he absolutely will be on this team. Thus, the replacement for a month and a half is irrelevant no matter how much better than Mathis he may be.

If he didn't get invited to ML ST, how did he get in yesterday's game against Detroit?

In the home games of Spring, they can invite Minor League players to play in the games. In the remaining home spring games, if they want Yelich to hit and Fernandez to pitch, they can do that.

At least I do believe.
