Asked him to please explain the thought process behind going to the worst pitcher on the team in a tie, he said they wanted to save Capps for when we had a lead and that Dunn, Ramos, Slowey weren't coming in (Dunn could have gone I think, if not I'd have gone Capps and at least give us a shot at getting a lead next inning), and that Marmol has to pitch sometime. I said I know his spot has to pitch which is why his spot should be given to Caminero/Hatcher/Jennings and that that spot should be the last option out of the pen behind Capps/Hand. His reply was "they're not here". Marmol then got sent down. I said "one of them may be now". He ignored me.
