Eovaldi and Alvarez are both #3ish/potential #2 type starters.

 

Heaney is better than Eovaldi and Alvarez. Heaney is about as safe as a prospect can be because of his command. His secondary pitches are superior to Eo's and Alvarez.

 

 

I hope you are right. Although since Heaney hasn't pitched yet in the majors this year I think it's a bit premature to annoint him our best pitcher, but you are certainly entitled to your opinion. And I hope you turn out to be right. Funny thing about baseball. There's very little that can actually be predicted with that much certainty. I'm 58 years old, and have watched and played baseball since the days of Whitey Ford, and I've seen a lot of "sure thing can't miss" prospects go down the drain. That's why I try not to make absolute statements. But hey, I do hope you turn out to be right, for the team's sake.
