July 30, 201412 yr According to Fisaro, Beckett would be a good fit for the Marlins if Lester goes to L.A. If the Dodgers got Lester, the one they'd try to ship out is Haren. Beckett is having a solid year, I'm sure they'd rather keep him than Haren, who is having a rather mediocre one. Plus, assuming the Dodgers do make the playoffs past the Wild Card game, a four man rotation of Kershaw - Greinke - Lester - Ryu with Beckett in the bullpen sounds a little more enticing than Haren in the bullpen. But until that point, you want your strongest 5 going out there every day. Having Beckett out there every 5th day is much more enticing than Haren. Just my opinion.
