Piazza31
I don't know if they have considered this, but why not trade for Kemp. The Dodgers were willing to eat half of his salary remaining in the upcoming 5 years, and the reason why the Mariners didn't do it was because of the demand for Tijuan Walker or Paxson. Why not build a deal around Heaney, Nicolino or other prospects and players they may want, and move Yelich to 1B? Kemp hasn't had his typical numbers due to injuries, but he should be serviceable, at 10 million club cost per year for 5 years he'll be here a while, and it looks like the dodgers just want value back for him. Or trade for Cargo and Tulo and sign Headley and Shields and Lester and Peavy.

Wild Card
Yea, let's move our Gold Glove LFer to 1B for a declining 30-something that plays below average defense. Now, I'll pretend you meant let's get Kemp so we can move him to 1B and make the next five years of his career healthier and more productive. That would make sense! SilverBullet
Wild Card is improving. Unless you're Spike. Then Wild Card is still an imbecile. Basically sums up the entire boards right there. New users should be required to memorize the above statement.
