He was out actually. Tough break. Hopefully we can win the series tomorrow. CC kinda sucks these days.

Mathis batting made me sad.

oh so that overhead look was conclusive. Gotcha.

I thought it was pretty conclusive the black blur was clearing touching the white blur

Conclusive is subjective. He looked out to me. More importantly, the call was out. It is what it is.

Regardless of whatever may be going on with Realmuto, Mathis absolutely should have been pinch hit for. With anyone, even with Solano honestly. You pray that two runs can come in and then u figure it out with an emergency catcher situation who would only be there for half an inning.

Leaving Mathis especially against Betances was basically conceding the game there. There's no way that's acceptable.

The call was SAFE on the field which means they need 100% conclusive clear without a doubt evidence to overturn it and they did not have that.  I hope you're not on a jury ever of an innocent defendant because I'm not sure you understand reasonable doubt

That was absolutely not conclusive. You see McCann's glove bend when he touches him and Hechavarria was already on the plate. I guess anything close for the Yankees gets overturned.

Instant replay is a fucking joke. You never know how it will turn out or what the hell is being said.

And Mathis batting...............just wow. Realmuto seemed perfectly fine last night so to not even be able to pinch hit. What the fuck.

Infuriating game. This team just has no fucking clue how to put a win streak together.

If Realmuto was unavailable, then you have to let Mathis hit.  I don't agree with you there.

Again, conclusive is subjective. Maybe it looked conclusive to them. They have every replay angle available. As it is, Hech looked out on the replays shown on TV.

Instant replay has been very good for baseball. They get more calls right now.

It has certainly helped but there need to be more accountability. Not just listening to some guys in New York who decide without any explanation.

Its just so fucking frustrating because this team needs a streak and they just can't put more than 2-3 wins together.

Tough to go on a winning streak with mediocre SP.

Can't blame them tonight for 2 runs in yankees stadium. Pineda was superb though. Great slider

The pitching should be compared to other teams. You could say that the hitting was bad and that was the reason for the loss, but we faced elite pitching. Elite pitching that we don't have. It's very rare that this team has gone into a game this year, and you say "wow, we're gonna win this one, look who we have on the mound!" We need Jose back.

Also, the SP would look even worse if you take away the fact that the team plays in a huge ballpark and the team defense is pretty awesome. The defense saved some more runs tonight actually.

there is no way you can pass that off as comclusive. The rule says for it to be overturned it needs to be. That wasnt. I don't know who could look at that angle and say with 100% certainty he was out.
