August 2, 201511 yr Author To me, my pet peeve with DJ is in reading the ESPN recaps (or I guess, more accurately, the AP recaps), his quotes after a loss are always of the type of "Well, when we scored that run to tie/lead the game, that was a big moment for us" despite the fact that they lost the game. The big moment was when the other team scored the winning run. I get trying to be all rah-rah and positive, but it seems like he can't or won't assess what went wrong. At least, it comes across that way reading those sorts of things. Probably being taken out of context though. Nope. that's exactly how he sounds. He's an idiot. Cue ice cream man vince

August 5, 201511 yr did i here right doing tonight marlins cast that DJ going back to front office he was interview by marlins man dj told him looking forward going back office job Yes he definitely spilled the beans on that. For those of you not following the above post or the game on TV at home. Craig was interviewing Marlins Man and he said that one of the benefits of giving so much money to the foundation was that he was able to sit down and talk/interview Dan Jennings. Marlins man asked him if he was enjoying being the Manager and his response was (I listened to it twice) "He said he is going to be much happier in the Front Office again next year". So there you go!
August 5, 201511 yr ya, cause jennings really deserves to be in the front office after this cluster fuck. Dusty Baker managing with Dombrowski leading baseball ops. Too bad Loria and Co are too stupid to figure it out.
September 16, 201511 yr Marlins (should be #1) potential manager target Dusty Baker joining TBS this postseason. http://www.cincinnati.com/story/sports/mlb/reds/redsblog/2015/09/15/former-reds-manager-joining-tbs-broadcast-team/72305030/ Hopefully he can help give great insight and we can learn more about hopefully the next Marlin manager as he helps break it down this autumn.
