July 18, 201511 yr No other manager in baseball pulls jose fucking Fernandez because Casey mcgehee is scared of a bunt. Fuck this dude
July 18, 201511 yr Im lost on why you say he is scared of a bunt. Be mad because the offense did not execute and be mad specifically at morris starting the 8th, leaving capps in for 2 pitches, and having dunn on the team. Guy indeed should be fired.

I've never really cared who the Marlins manager is but DJ is somehow that fucking bad.

Jennings is no manager, reiterating my point that many people here could manage better and be efficient at transactions
July 18, 201511 yr I'd now like to know how far Jennings has to fall for Loria to want a change in manager. I'm not entirely sure we're at that point yet, which is quite sad.
July 18, 201511 yr DJ is 99% certain to go back to being a front office exec after the season, that was the case before today.
July 18, 201511 yr Author With you 100% Vince. Jennings is the only manager I've ever thought should actually be fired. No one pulls youe ace at 70 fucking pitches in a tie game
July 18, 201511 yr I serious hope there will be many new faces in our bullpen next year that our better than the shit that is there now (not counting Capps)... The error didn't help but Dunn fucking sucks
July 18, 201511 yr With you 100% Vince. Jennings is the only manager I've ever thought should actually be fired. No one pulls youe ace at 70 fucking pitches in a tie game thats one thing. I understand your grievance. But i wanted jose to pitch the 7th because game impact aside, he is just so damn entertaining. I would have let him hit in the 7th....i dont necessarily think he would have struck out. Could have gotten a hit. Hell he already homered this year.
July 18, 201511 yr The bunt is not the issue. Even if fielded cleanly think Revere beats it. No, the issue is defensive indifference, brilliantly taking Jose out after 70 pitches, and Jennings fucking bullpen mismanagement all causing a loss to the worst damn team in the game. Another awful loss in a season of awful losses.
July 18, 201511 yr DJ is 99% certain to go back to being a front office exec after the season, that was the case before today. About a month ago Frisaro was saying they were leaning towards keeping Jennings for various reasons, has that changed since then or was that never accurate?
July 18, 201511 yr About a month ago Frisaro was saying they were leaning towards keeping Jennings for various reasons, has that changed since then or was that never accurate? I can't say with certainty what the thinking was when Frisaro wrote that but I can tell you that at the start of July, it was pretty much decided that DJ won't manage again next season barring something weird.

July 18, 201511 yr I wonder how much blame Loria and Hill are putting on Jennings' in game decisions as opposed to just blaming injuries and other issues.
July 18, 201511 yr About a month ago Frisaro was saying they were leaning towards keeping Jennings for various reasons, has that changed since then or was that never accurate? just give me culture of winning guys next year. Matt carpenter, molina, pence, heyward, anybody that knows what the hell is going on. Bring in grienke, and totally reboot the bullpen with choate, and these other guys that know how to win.
July 18, 201511 yr I wonder how much blame Loria and Hill are putting on Jennings' in game decisions as opposed to just blaming injuries and other issues. He's been dealt a tough hand but he also hasn't helped himself. I think they see that.
July 18, 201511 yr That gillespie play is an ominous warning that marcell maury ozuna and his one double A homer are coming back soon.
July 18, 201511 yr Look for the Marlins to try and hire an experienced manager this off-season. Money isn't a factor even though I know many of you will assume it is.

July 18, 201511 yr He's been dealt a tough hand but he also hasn't helped himself. I think they see that. that's exactly what I wanted to hear. moving on, while I know he's far from the problem tonight, people have ripped on Jennings, McGehee, Morse, Gillespie, Morris, Dunn, even Hand... yet no one mentions Dietrich failing in an opportunity that may have changed the entire game had he come through. Dietrich is the new golden boy on here.

July 18, 201511 yr The thought was we were getting that with Morse and Prado. prado i clearly see. Good point.
