July 18, 201511 yr Cosart has vertigo and you guys act like you dont even care! Bro, that literally made me laugh out loud. Good job, Champ.
July 18, 201511 yr Cosart has vertigo and you guys act like you dont even care! I have Vertigo too... I have a lot of Alfred Hitchcock films on Blu-ray in my film collection
July 18, 201511 yr Author So like if Ozuna is in cf and yelich is in lf this thread probably doesn't exist(at least for tonight). So like is there really any reason Ozuna is in milb besides super 2 reasons?

July 18, 201511 yr When is he eligible to be recalled? I forgot the day he was optioned. Ozuna thought the "Just fucking quit" was aimed at him so he said "Fuck it" and quit
July 18, 201511 yr I think Ozuna can already be recalled and he's found his stroke in AAA. Should really bring him back tomorrow unless its for Super-2 reasons as Polly said... and I guess with us out of contention that makes sense.
July 18, 201511 yr i would roughly guess at least another 2 weeks for them to be safe in terms of super 2. probably is the case, would be so marlins.
July 18, 201511 yr Look for the Marlins to try and hire an experienced manager this off-season. Money isn't a factor even though I know many of you will assume it is. I actually believe you here. People complain that the Marlins have no stability with manager, but look at the dumb hires they've been making recently: 1. Ozzie (Loria thought he owned a WWE franchise, not a baseball team and wanted spectacle) 2. Redmond (managed like a season or 2 of A ball) 3. Jennings (managed high school baseball) The lesson here is that all three of those hires made sense in the backwards Marlins universe of doing things. No other MLB team would have actively pursued those guys. Ozzie might be the only mildly appealing managerial option to some teams, but he was coming off a toxic relationship with the FO and it's telling now that he cannot get a job since the Marlins let him go.

July 18, 201511 yr . Ozzie might be the only mildly appealing managerial option to some teams, but he was coming off a toxic relationship with the FO and it's telling now that he cannot get a job since the Marlins let him go. Viva Castro!!

The Super 2 status is a pretty damn reason to keep him down there. The games don't matter at this point and the Marlins could spend that money on someone in the offseason. On second thought, they will probably sign Rafael Furcal or Placido Polanco.
July 18, 201511 yr @Admin Do you know how Loria feels about Dusty Baker? If he's one of the options, we should enjoy what we're getting out of Jose now because his career might end next season
July 18, 201511 yr @Admin Do you know how Loria feels about Dusty Baker? If he's one of the options, we should enjoy what we're getting out of Jose now because his career might end next season Dusty is not the guy they are going after. He may end up a candidate but only if they miss on a couple others first

Wait.... Do you usually not believe me?
July 18, 201511 yr Wait.... Do you usually not believe me? Not since you led me to believe Tommy Hutton would be the next manager.
July 18, 201511 yr In defense of those who had said that pretty much anymore can manage the team and the results would be the same, that's also said under the assumption that an actual manager is doing the managing. Anything less, such as Dan Jennings, is gonna do more negative than positive.
July 18, 201511 yr DJ is 99% certain to go back to being a front office exec after the season, that was the case before today. If Loria puts him back after this shitstorm of a season, and doesn't see Jennings & Hill are part of the problem (He, Loria, being the other part), then it's pointless rooting for this franchise. There comes a point in time, where you just stop beating your head, because it will never change, as long as the head of the snake is living.
July 18, 201511 yr just give me culture of winning guys next year. Matt carpenter, molina, pence, heyward, anybody that knows what the hell is going on. Bring in grienke, and totally reboot the bullpen with choate, and these other guys that know how to win. LOL with Loria pulling the purse strings keep on dreaming.
