Kike Hernandez's advice to a current Marlin

that is correct. Cant speak for houston though. Houston has at least some good ones, correa altuve marisnick. We have the culture of losing (no hitting, $325 mil dude always hurt, and no farm system)

fair, but at the same time the Dodgers really shouldn't count either as most teams don't have a freaking unlimited payroll.

but its mainstream. Kiki gets to be on sunday night game of the weeks, fox nationals, play opponents like the giants on a consistent basis and wherever he and the dodgers go, people will be in attendance.

marlins will always get the 1:10 home sunday start time

At least Houston had a see-able plan. Some pundits didn't like it, but it was clear what they were doing, they stuck with it, and it seems to be working this year. And it wasn't too long ago that Houston was considered a good baseball town. They just went through a down cycle in the past decade or so.

Here, things change faster than the weather, and it does seem more like magic trick than a tangible product from year to year.

I want a full page advert in the Sun-Sentinel from McGehee thanking the Fish when he leaves the team in 10 years!

:)

Wait, why would he leave?

MARLIN 4 LYF

Can't speak for Houston but this is sad that any player feels this way about us, or any team for that matter.

As for Marlins who left here talking positively, the only one I can recall being outwardly positive was Logan Morrison who almost did it because everyone swore he had beef with the team so I remember him publicly clearing the air on that one.

Strong words from Mr. Enrique "I've played in 104 MLB games ever" Hernandez.  He should keep his mouth shut and focus on being in the league in 5 years (something I doubt).

I'm pretty sure, barring injury, he'll be in the league 5 years from now. Probably starting too.

Wes Helms probably would have been a coach or manager for this team if he hadn't told Logan Morrison not to show up at that charity event or whatever it was.

What's the story behind this?

Well, it's not like this comes out of nowhere. He has a lot of evidence to point towards this. We are more than likely the worst organization in the mlb

Good, maybe its true and you can think it and he can think it but its completely unprofessional to do what he did.

What about promising a jet and going back on it? This organization is the epitome of unprofessional

They ordered one, the company building it kept having delays and kept making mistakes so they canceled the order.  Something many of us would do when a company fucks our order up over and over.  Its not like there's another custom plane company down the block to try out next.

Maybe Loria should have built the plane himself

So how do other companies/individuals get custom jets? It's not an impossible endeavor and I'm sure there is more than one company. When you make a promise, you need to deliver. That's the root of most problems with this organization.

just because a company fucks up one order doesn't mean they fuck up every order.  Really man?  Amazon has messed up 5 or 6 orders for me over the years but has also completed a couple hundred perfectly fine.  Does that need to be explained?

You also don't know how many teams MAY have ordered one and didn't end up taking delivery of one. The jobs may have been different, etc.  You're searching for a reason to make the Marlins 100% responsible.  And before you say "You're searching for a reason to make the Marlins 0% responsible", I'm not.  I'm just stating facts.
