September 3, 201511 yr I think they're offering Jennings the GM spot again out of courtesy because that's what they said would be an option at the end of the season regardless of how his managerial stint went. They won't just fire him completely, especially considering so much of this managerial failure wasn't his fault. But I think they'd rather move on with a new guy and will express that desire to him. And from there, if they like him enough to retain him, they'll offer him a different position just not as the boss.
