Lomo traded to Tampa bay

And you guys don't even seem to care!

LoMo and Longo!!!!

And one sucks!

I don't understand why Rays did Karns trade like this.

Brad Miller - triple-digit strikeout guy, minus WAR SS.

LoMo - DL-friendly 1B, FA after 2016 season.

Farquhar - Just normal RH reliever.

Well, not a fan of Lomo. He sucks at defense, and the one thing that he was supposed to well above average at, hitting, he sucked at too. I never got the hype.

Brad Miller isn't as bad as you say and Karns isn't as good as you're making him out to be. It's a pretty fair deal, helps both teams fill needs.

Their holes were filled

I think a lot people became a fan of his due to his personality. The tweets, Lunch with LoMo, etc and ignored his lack of playing ability on the big league stage.

The hype was because he was a completely different hitter in the minors. He had one of the best plate disciplines in the minor, consistently posting .400+ OBP's and showing an ability to hit the ball to all parts of the field. His first year he actually showed some of what made him a top 25 prospect with a .390 OBP in over 200 AB's. I don't know what in the world happened, whether it be coaching, injuries, trying to learn left field when he should've been at 1B, a change in approach or just a combination of it all, but he stopped caring about getting on base and started swinging for the fences more. Morrison feels like a player who has a ton of wasted potential. The reasons I was incredibly high on Morrison had absolutely nothing to do with his personality.
