December 1, 201510 yr When he saw the miniature testicles, he assumed I had the same dealer. SORRY @SongInTheAir God damnit, Admin.
December 1, 201510 yr Author ^ Proof that @squall is a spy here and is employed by the Marlins. Sources tell me that's exactly what happened.

December 1, 201510 yr Author Can people please email Samson and tell him not to promote Preston Wilson?
December 2, 201510 yr I can see the braintrust now, sitting around the conference table with shitty abstract art carefully misplaced on the walls. Each one contains every marlin's color, and are highlighted by cold, white LEDs. Loria at the head of table, Samson to his right, and Hill to his left, while an executive from Fox Sports sips on a glass of freshly poured Dasani water. Only the best. Samson is glancing quickly around the room as he is filled with nervousness at what is being proposed. Loria, calm and cool as the Cloud Gate sculpture. Hill stares straight ahead, wondering if the executives are intelligent enough to see what they are about to do. In dead silence, Loria makes eye contact with an executive, and then looks down at the folder in front of him. The exec bewilderingly looks down, wondering how this appeared in front of him, and then looks back up to see Samson climb back onto his booster. Mystery solved. He slowly opens the folder, as all rumors and gossip about dealing with Loria are quickly being confirmed. In bold, 72 size, and comic sans, the letter says: BAR- RY B -OND- S The exec chuckles, looks up, and Samson is gone. He looks down, and there is another folder in front of him. He dares not look back up, as he is having trouble holding back laughter. He clears his throat, glances at his coworkers, looks up at Loria, and starts to ask why he's here. Loria cuts him off, and tells him to read. Hill shakes his head. Clearly this exec isn't intelligent enough to see what they are doing. The exec opens this folder, and it's a simple pictures of tommy hutton: http://i.imgur.com/VHhA0gy.png The exec becomes frustrated. He asks Loria why he is here. Loria stands up, leans over the conference table while supporting himself with both hands, and states, "Bonds will not tolerate Hutton's criticisms." The execs get up, and start to walk out. He looks back, and says, "Why would Bonds care? He isn't even a marlin." Loria tells him to stop. They stop in the doorway. Loria says, "Open the folder." The exec yells, "WHAT FOLDER?!" He sees Samson scoot back into his booster. He looks down unsurprised, and sees the folder peering from his briefcase. He opens the folder, shows it to his team, and they sit back down. "Let's talk." lol
March 28, 201610 yr Author Apparently Fox was behind the Tommy dismissal more than the Marlins were and it was partly due to financial reasons. Some felt Tommy was overpaid. I feel those who thought that are overpaid.
March 28, 201610 yr Author Link that story so we can blow it up on Twitter. Here's one about it: http://miamiherald.typepad.com/sports-buzz/2016/03/media-column-a-look-at-the-marlins-unique-new-tv-approach-and-the-challenge-of-replacing-hutton-medi.html Though the Marlins and Fox have declined to comment publicly about the Hutton decision, the Marlins thought Hutton was too negative at times, both on air and off. But a source with direct knowledge insisted that Fox, which employs the announcers, was as much if not more to blame for Hutton’s ouster. The source said Fox thought Hutton made too much money and considering dumping him during previous offseasons. If Fox Sports Florida general manager Steve Tello wanted to keep Hutton, he certainly could have.
March 28, 201610 yr Author Apparently Fox was behind the Tommy dismissal more than the Marlins were and it was partly due to financial reasons. Some felt Tommy was overpaid. I feel those who thought that are overpaid. So it wasn't so much about the players being whiny bitches?
March 28, 201610 yr Author So it wasn't so much about the players being whiny bitches? If you believe what some people are saying
March 28, 201610 yr So... While I'm not really siding with either party here.... I'm more thinking about this: is it possible that once again a grain of negativity related to the Marlins gets blown up and overblown to epic proportions? I mean if a player or two complained it's not right but maybe there wasn't an angry mob of players coaches and front office people wanting Tommy's head on a stick? Then again, while I could be right... there probably is still truth to the team wanting him out so whatever, fuck them. Oh and fuck this site too.
March 28, 201610 yr Not defending the firing of Hutton but as a Marlins fan it fuckin sucks that if the scenario was, for example, one Marlins player made a complaint to someone about Tommy being too critical and then 50 people in a meeting with Fox Sports sat around and said "Hutton needs to go for financial reasons"... what gets reported and blown up is the one player's complaint as opposed to 50 asswads that wanted him out for financial reasons. It's that imbalance that stings when you love this team so much.
March 28, 201610 yr I kid you not...during one of the recent spring training games...Preston spoke well (enough)...looks like someone has been taking English classes... BTW sucks we lost Tommy!!! ARGG
