Strict no facial hair policy

Admin confirms he is on the marlins payroll. I'm surprised Loria OK'd a minimum wage employee. I hear that payroll is tight.

What else would he do with that revenue sharing money?

Serious question, how tight are they being with the facial hair policy? I know it's only been under two weeks but a few days ago everyone was 100% clean shaven, this weekend on Twitter and the MLB app I see a bunch of players showing more scruff as if they haven't shaved in a couple days. Cosart, Dee, Stanton, Jose... it's all still low but it's not clean shaven either. I'm curious.

I don't think its being that strictly enforced during these workouts. I believe they will be taking it more serious in the games and especially in the regular season.

Thanks that was what I figured but at the same time if they're gonna have the policy I didn't think they'd be easing back not even two weeks into it. It could also be possible that the policy specifically says "during games." We'll see when the games start.

Yeah from what I gathered (nothing was told to me), its not really a requirement at this point. Its more of a recommendation right now in order to become acclimated to the new rules. When the season is going on, it will be absolutely mandatory. Not sure about the exhibition games.

But seriously I'm surprised it's more than an every other day policy at most. Three days is enough for a scruffy "I haven't shaved since Friday because I don't have to work until Monday" look and that goes against the professionalism concept of the policy. If you're gonna promote a clean look three days is a lot for most guys.

But what the hell do I know? If I don't shave for three days I'm still as smooth as a baby's ass.

What a disaster of an offseason. No #3, but yeah we have to have facial hair discrimination and no tommy.

I myself would rather have facial hair than a #3 pitcher... but don't mind me that's just a personal problem I've dealt with since middle school.
