"What do we want?" Mattingly said. "Whatever we want, let's do it and leave it. We can't have a guy we bring in do this, and then we're like, 'We'll do it now.' Then you go back the next year. Let's get what we want and set it."

Oh. Well if he puts it like that

Well that sucks for guys like Dunn! I mean the Yankees had such a winning tradition when Mattingly played for them. one playoff trip during his career, this will be the one thing that pushes them into being a contender!

I myself have a pretty firm no facial policy. But I do make exceptions from time to time.

Noticed you didn't say "facial hair", you said "facial". Your mind is constantly in the gutter.

In other news, Billy the Marlin's nose was replaced with a razor....

In other other news... The 2017 All-Star Game will be held at Bic Park

I remember the team having this policy under Girardi in 2006. I'm of the opinion that this is a baseball field, not a Fortune 500 company's corporate office so if you want to grow a beard go ahead. Honestly it doesn't matter, although worrying about facial hair for even a second is a second that isn't being thrown into trying to make the team better.
