good start.

Tom Koehler's last start vs. Milwaukee: 8 IP, 4H, 2ER, 10K

From my perspective though,  this is more the exception rather than the rule,  dating back to last year.  He seems to begin faltering after 5 innings,  and today is just pathetic. Never liked him in the rotation and wish they wound find a replacement. We were on a nice run. ...and to lose momentum and be blown out like this so early in the game is frustrating.

Welcome to the board, Donna.

Kerwin Fuckface always there to ruin our momentum with a bad call. Prado doesn't care though.

Not really.  He is sporadically frustrating, but he has been consistent and durable for two years.  If he were to have two consecutive starts like this, then it would be a major issue and he would have to be replaced.

What's he consistent at?

NICE

if Koehler had done horrible instead of atrocious, we can be looking at being down 9-5 or so right now.

Also, Ege...

Thanks,  having trouble replying to messages with my tablet though. Hopefully I'll get it figured out.

Ege made Chris Narveson look like Jamie Moyer against the Marlins.

Not defending Koehler, but to blame him entirely for this is only to serve a narrative.  Ege put on one of the worst performances I have ever seen.

if Koehler had done his job and maybe gave up 7 through 5 complete innings. then maybe ege wouldn't be pitching. the demise of ege began because of Koehler's crap.

Like I said,  he has maybe 6 good innings and starts to lose it and is pulled. I cringe every time he's on the mound and he usually doesn't disappoint.

Urena looks good again. He has some potential and doesn't belong on the list with Koehler, Ege, Breslow, and Morris.
