5/28 marlins @ braves

If we had a real starting rotation he'd be fourth, third at best. The Marlins want him to he a #2 and while he's shown glimpses of that throughout his career, he's probably not that good consistently. We're putting too much on his shoulders.

Chen SHOULD be a #2 in the NL east in our park. the word is the marlins are making him pitch differently than he has in his career. IDK what if that's true but...

That's interesting.

I will say that if you're going to go to the bullpen in the 6th, McGowan seems like a better option than Urena. Urena is like the new Morris. This guy needs to go.

Wittgren threw a lot of pitches so he was automatically out. So you had McGowan or Jackson to choose from. I also don't think they would go to Phelps in the 8th if we had the lead but who knows.

I don't buy it. Why would you give a guy all that $$ and then tell him to change how he was successful in the past?

if don did the only correct move in that situation, which is leave chen in, none of that would have mattered

I don't buy it either. The reality is that he's always been hittable.

this game feels like yesterday's, just not doing enough.  So far the shitty Braves and Phils seem to have our number.

By season's end there may be many team having our number

Michael Jong really breaks things down but I feel like he comes out too critical. Like nothing impresses him.

well that's a different story on his marlins opinion. My point is he's not basing his thesis out out of thin air. he's using heat maps etc and prioir things the fish have said/done to support it.
