fanofthefish
Losses like these are a true indicator of what to expect from the Marlins in 2016
CyggyMarlin
Folks. This is a .500 team ranked 28th in payroll. If ownership doesn't want to spend to improve on things like a bullpen and is ok trotting out aaa relievers then forget it.
bmg42
We're playing without our #1, #3 and #4 hitters, two of which are gold-glove fielders as well. And we're also without probably our best reliever. There's only so many times 42-year-old Ichiro and Cole Gillespie are going to bail you out. But somebody please get Ozuna's head in the game out there, and sew up the hole in Prado's glove... Guest Vince0926
Just prepare for the sweep. Culture of losing has returned by the way. Can't even beat a 14 win team.
Erick
Just prepare for the sweep. Culture of losing has returned by the way. Can't even beat a 14 win team. Culture just changes on a daily basis even though it's the same team.
SilverBullet
Losses like these are a true indicator of what to expect from the Marlins in 2016 No they're not. This isn't a playoff team but to expect this shit every day is flat out wrong too.
Guest Vince0926
Why do the twins always win on the same day as the Braves? Seriously, twins swept the Angels at the same time Braves swept Marlins and now the Braves have won 2 games and the twins beat Seattle last night and are winning today. DTrain
It doesn't matter if the Marlins win tomorrow. This series is already a disaster. Anything less than 2 out of 3 was complete failure., Congratulations, we are fans of the saddest franchise in pro baseball.

I don't care that they're 5-0 against us... Braves fans would trade those five wins for our record in a heartbeat.
Guest Vince0926
What % of braves wins have come from us? Like 30%? 5/14 = ??
Guest Vince0926
I don't know their record because I'm not following standings like it's August. 5/14 = 35.71%
CYmarlins
That's a nice chunk of wins for the Braves just against one team. I think they got another couple of wins against the Phillies. What makes this is more crazy is the Braves only had 2 wins at Home coming into this series. @DTrain you are absolutely wrong if you think a win still messes up the series. You salvage it anyway that you can. This forum was on their period when the Marlins lost the first 2 games of the 4 game series of the Nationals. But we welcome them home like they came back from War after they win the next 2 to win the series? Baseball is played every single day. Heck you can go up to 20 games without a day off. Basketball is played every other day and sometimes 3 days out. Football is a week out. Even Hockey is spaced out. We have 1 6 2 GAMES. This is a marathon and not a sprint. I hate to lose, especially to teams like this. Getting bent out of shape on loses like this are ridiculous though.

Although I think the problem here is HOW we lost the last two games more than just that we lost them. With that said, win today and we went 4-3 this week. Could have been 5-2, maybe even 6-1... But 4-3 is better than not.
CYmarlins
If you wanna look at the bright side, we beat the Rays without our two best hitters. We took 3 of 4 and we had every opportunity to sweep it. Regardless I will take it. Scoring two runs in the last two games won't cut it against any team. Win this game and we are still 2 games over .
Michael
Win today and I'll be OK, I guess. 26-24 is better than most expected us to be 50 games in this year, so I'll take it.
