I apologize to @sdg210 for giving a detailed conversation

@Major-Minor I know what you're thinking but no I don't hate the month of February

Is it possible that employee was actually Dominican?

Don't think so.

I insulted a group of people? Go fuck yourself.

Here is the problem...

1. ghetto shouldn't be a substitution for black. So 2 and 2 do not go together.

2. You don't mention race at all until it's to point out the (African American). And it brings NO value to the story.

These are your words. I didn't insinuate or put words into your mouth. You need to relax.

Sorry I am a very detailed person. Woman was a bitch for yelling at me that question. Maybe she hates white people? I was giving a detailed account to a person on this message board. But you classed me as serving a portion of the country so you can go fuck yourself

Banning or arguing with him isn't going to change how he feels. I don't think you're racist but I did find it weird you made it a point to deliberately say that the girl was black, hell, you could have used a number of adjectives and none of us would have been the wiser since we weren't there.  Then there's the old calling card of being accused as a racist and immediately the first thing that comes to mind to say is, "I have black friend(s)". I've done that before too since with the atmosphere of today - you can walk into a convenient store and get a pack of gum and I guarantee you, if you cross paths with the right (i.e. wrong) person, they'll find a way to call you racist.

Being called a racist these days is just being painted with a very broad brush - look at the crap Blake Lively had to put up with just because she mocked her own pregnant ass from a sir-mix-a-lot track.  It's become a tamed down version of a Saw game to find new and inventive ways to call someone racist and make them angry and/or uncomfortable.  Vince, you need to calm down bud, and just move on with your day, I'm pretty sure nobody on this board thinks any less of you nor is anyone else on here planning on checking your closet for bed sheets with eye holes cut out and a pointy hat (ghost Pope for halloween?)

And whoever it was that called him racist in the first place, you're either an idiot or a troll, but often those words are synonymous with one another.

I can't stand Vince but he isn't a racist.

That's weird. I think you're awesome.

This is the best answer to all of this. can we move on and enjoy Mammarial Day?

Thank you for this. Thanks to all of you.

Don't think so.

That is my point...

who gives a crap what race they are?!

By informing the reader they are (African American) and after the point was made you are tapping into a negative and cliched social construct.

Intentionally or not.

Look I am sorry. I don't know you and I came on a little strong which only does a disservice to my argument.

Words have meaning. That is my point.

One thing I try to do here is respect everyone considering I had a bad run in 2 years ago here. Like me or dislike me I follow the creed of EVERYONE here should value opinions and thoughts. I give detailed accounts and you didn't know that about me. If the girl was white and I said chomp so be it. I go by observation not what is granted. The military thing you mentioned? That's where I have a major problem

Vince clearly wanted to illustrate that the person getting him food was a ghetto black chick. It's almost like we need to use words to communicate on a forum. He tried to do it in the most pc way possible, but the sensitive vaginas of the internet took it the only way they know how. The story isn't accurate if Vince doesn't say she's black. He wasnt saying of course this blackie was rude because she's black. He simply described what happened to him. Hoe else do you want him to show it was a black woman with poor grammar talking "ghetto"? PC culture at its finest.

*drops mic* thank you sincerely. Trying to be the most polite I can be so I DONT offend anyone

Squall go to the game me and s-breezy will be at. I will buy you a beer or taco bell

I was picturing a ditzy young white blonde until you clarified Vince, so thanks.

@sdg210 still it was a nice time. Glad Dodgers won and we gained on them. One way or the other I love that stadium. Kershaw was especially dominant and grandersons hit was very nice. Crowd erupted. I like both Kershaw and granderson so that was cool.

Well, at least picked up a game which was the important thing.

I distinctly remember Admin calling people racist on game threads. Forgot who though and it was likely to be joking

I'm confused? Did you grab the imaginary mic from his hand and then drop it?

Be whoever you want...I would just recommend you choose your words more carefully.

Let me leave you with this example: When we watch a movie...lets say Star Wars...we know who the 'good guy' is because music...tone...dialogue...even the wardrobe...ALL work together to inform the audience. These are context clues. It is how you knew "nitwit" was an insult even if you didn't know the definition.

Words are Words. They are powerless. They are given strength by how we use them and, even more so, how we are affected by them.

The latter is where my failure lies.

I understand you believe you are completely open-minded.

Your word choice expresses something different.

Some people are better at reading between the lines.

Its not political correctness @squall it is language.

It is why we read Anthem...V for Vendetta...Lord of the Flies...Shakespeare...

...So that when something is written or said we have the skills to interpret them.

Squall go to the game me and s-breezy will be at. I will buy you a beer or taco bell
