Nicolino is starting tomorrow and it'd take time to build up Phelps' arm to be a SP so I don't see it happening anytime soon. Not to mention, he's thrived in this role.

That would be crazy to give up either of those players for a guy who anyone could have signed in the off season. It's not like our minor league system is chuck full of top prospects. I'm hoping it might be a guy like Lilek who Paddack might have made expendable. Fuck, I would almost understand Paddack for a good (not even great) starting pitcher.
