Fair. Meant more so that it would mean Norris slots in the back of the rotation and we hopefully got someone better for the middle of the rotation but that's likely a pipe dream.

Of course every contented team want to get the top of the order guy including us,but with our offer the bottom of the order guy was the most realistic.

SP better be the priority but an upgrade to the bullpen wouldn't hurt. If anything I'd hope they target a real lefty reliever.

Nope. Don't mess with what's working. Phelps is way too valuable in his role now to switch back to starting.

phelps has huge problems with getting lefties out atm tbh. would prefer don use him more in match up situations than just blanket set up guy

 

 

Liriano's issue seem to be more mechanic than anything else. His velocity and strikeouts are there. I think that is something Benedict can fix up.

 

Rodney seems to be more realistic and very cheap this year and I believe an option for next year. That would just lengthen the bullpen. I like Phelps in the 8th spot or even 7th. You can swap them around and have Bearclaw come in the 6/7th. Upgrades are needed because by the trade deadline the wear and tear will be evident.

 

Wouldn't even rule Norris out.
