May as well trade for sabathia and Chapman if we're all in. Probably wouldn't take much prospect wise to get both and take on sabathia's 2017 contract but that doesn't seem likely

Yanks are looking to re-stock their farm when they deal Chapman, they don't care enough about money to give him away just to dump CC's deal

Before the series, I didn’t really pay attention to anybody but our team, but I was very impressed with their team,” Cubs slugger Kris Bryant said. “They got some good hitters. Their bullpen is probably the best we’ve seen so far. It seems like every guy they got throws 98 mph with a really good off-speed pitch. We had a battle against them.”

All in? Hmm, I wonder if Loria and Hill would consider us all in. It could change how much they push here.

Yeah. Not to mention that Sabathia has actually been pretty awesome this year, so the Yankees aren't just going to give him away at this point regardless.

I just don't see us having enough in the farm system for someone like Chapman. Unless we want to deal someone like Ozuna (which would be stupid), it isn't happening.

Kris Bryant says our bullpen is the best they've faced all season so there's that. Replace Dunn and I'm happy.

Imagine if Capps were healthy? Ugh...

Thanks to Kris anyway, but who knows does Bryant said this to decrease the level of their frustration after lost this series or not,and how many bullpens he had seen in his short career ? but anyway, our bullpen was really became a good one from the terrible one we carried to open the season, really amazing.

Another starter should be first priority.

Yes,our team BA was ranked 2nd in the NL and our bullpen was the best to the best hitter of the best team, but our 5th starter was a guy which his last name was the only thing that relative to good pitcher.

I believe they always "ALL IN" when come to improve this team, but their "all in" seems be not enough every time.

Except when they went all in, in 2003 by expanding payroll for Pudge and then trading for Urbina. When they sense this could be a playoff team, they will make the necessary moves and money is not a concern.

Yep. Also made fairly big moves in 2004 (Lo Duca) and 2009 (Nick Johnson), and attempted to get Manny Ramirez in 2008.

In Admin I believe, and I think it's Loria's plan to make the playoff this year due to the ASG of next season,so I expect him to do the "right investment".
