Yes, the market is down in terms of quality, but the demand from teams will even out as they begin to go. Realistically, we won't have our pick at who we want, but we can afford a Rich Hill, or Ervin Sanatana. Unless you think Boston/Texas is going to break the bank for a couple of them which I just don't see.

Well, as you said, BearKlaw's problem against them has been the walks but he has the stuff to get them.

 

Phelps isn't terrible against them either. He's better against righties, but a cutter from a RHP is usually effective against lefties when it's on.

 

I think a lefty in the pen is the least of our worries. We do need SP though.
