We, the Marlins' fans, knew Jose and how important he was to us.  And not just the pitching but as a human being.  Unfortunately the tragedy has shown us how much he was loved by the baseball world.  The Fernandez' jerseys  in so many dugouts, the moments of silence not only in baseball diamonds but hockey and football games. And now on the Nationals' mound.  Jose was international.  He wasn't contained.
