How to correctly use $85 million that has been rejected twice?

With the "push for Chapman and Jansen" thread seemingly run its course I think we can pretty much move on to the next step of the offseason in here.

I would have been ok with getting Jansen but what's next? What would make this offseason still a decent one?

I definitely say we need 2 of the established veteran relievers still out there.

That, coupled with keeping Ramos will still give us an improved quality bullpen. I also expect the Marlins to get aggressive and act pretty fast on these next moves.

Sadly, I don't think they will do anything major the rest of the off-season. I just got a sense all along that it was Chapman or Jansen or bust.  Besides the Volquez signing of course.

To change course now would have required a plan B or a plan in general and a plan is not something this FO has proven to have had in a while.  Probably just some more minor league signings.  I hope I'm wrong.
