it wasn't perfect. And there is no real way I can advocate the killing of innocent people, but I do feel like the world is a better place now that Iraq will be rebuilt.

I'm a pacifist, so obviously this does nothing for me at all. The fact that we invaded another sovereign country to the protest of most of the world and now are set to execute its leader is quite disturbing to me. We went in there for several reasons (propaganda) including (1) to find WMD dangerous to everyone (2) to eradicate a terrible dictator, who butchered his own people. I suppose we succeeded in achieving the later, but does that now set the precedent for invading every country who violates the civil rights of its people? Do we know invade Cuba, basically all of LA, almost all of Africa, much of SE Asia, many of the Republics of the former USSR? Probably not because the business interests of all those areas combined do not even come close to those in Iraq. They control the most valuable resource on earth. Make fun of me if you want, but war is the ALWAYS the most wasteful course of action. Imagine if all the money spend on war and its related parts could be spend on removing hunger, disease, education? Cancer would probably be a thing of the past. I especially can't understand how believers in Christ can be joyful over the killing of people no matter what country is doing it to whom and for whatever reasons. Boggles me.

Everything that was sacrificed to now rebuild Iraq or whatever wasn't worth it. I would rather have those 190 soldiers living and all those innocent people and children living and living safely than the situation now.
