Having lived in Tampa most of my life I've never seen a ball hit that far at the Trop.  I was actually watching the Rays feed for this game and neither of them had seen a ball hit that far there either.  They were in complete disbelief.

If I heard them correctly, second farthest homer ever there. 2001 vinny castilla hit the farthest like 470 something. They showed the clip later in the game.

It amazes me how many more replies the losses generate in post game threads. I guess it is like product reviews, you don't see as many positive reviews. People like to talk when it is to complain.

It's pretty normal. How often does the media talk about things that are positive? People have more to say when trying to come up with solutions than giving praise.

So he worth a roster spot now !?

Oh yes, and another plaque with 3000 pictures of him catching the ball

This is true. It's part of what's wrong with this country.

Tbh I get why there's less talk of and during positive things but it's just frustrating because it seems like the team gets no support when they're doing well.

Fixed

Outside of the win I liked that they had Fox traxt (?) on.  I like to see where the actual pitch went to see the close calls.  More often in the AL???

The baseball ran into the banner. I felt it would have traveled higher if not for that. Putting together 7 great hits was great.

Think about baseball in general and what the talk is like in the stands. Even for teams that go to the playoffs and win the world series. Go look at their message boards. People bitch and moan because it's more fun than a circle jerk of praise.

Plus we haven't had a ton to really feel amazing about since the ballpark opened.
