Ya but there was a good vibe with Hutton, Conine and even Preston.Seems very fake with Hollandsworth, and i really dont think Waltz and Hollandsworth get along very well.

They definitely lack chemistry yeah and at times it seems like Holly may get under Rich's skin

 

 

I can't imagine it'll happen, but would be nice to get Tommy back in there with the new ownership in 2018. He worked for Fox I know but with input from the Marlins.

 

Before, we possibly lose Rich on top of it. He didn't seem happy with the rotating crew last year and thus far Holly isn't a fantastic mix with him.

 

 

Just first season as a Marlins broadcast member.

dang I must be oblivious to that. I thought they did have some good chemistry and were doing great. If anything I always thought Eduardo and Rich were clashing.

 

I wouldn't rule Hutton coming back after new ownership even though he worked for Fox sports

 

 

 

Not a fan of Hollandsworth. I haven't warmed up to him. I don't expect I will.

 

 

There was just something "homey" about Tommy Hutton. I think Hollandsworth seems like a nice guy and I dont think Ive noticed any significant lack of chemistry (obviously Tommy was better) or that Hollandsworth gets under Rich's skin. 

 

 

I think Hollandsworth is still finding his footing with this team and what the fan base already knows. I don't think he's doing a bad job, but he certainly strikes me as a National Broadcast guy trying to cover a local team.

 

Like every Marlins broadcast is presented by MLB on Fox with Rich Waltz.

But as been pointed out there are times u can tell he'll say or do something that annoys rich. 

 

E.g jokes, promos, different opinions on topics. 

 

 

Holly needs time to know and learn the team inside and out on a more personal level. That's something rich excels at and that only comes with time. I like him thus far and haven't noticed any lack of chemistry with rich.

 

 

I really doubt Tommy comes back.  Not sure he would be asked, but two reason on Tommy's side.  One is he was extremely hurt by how it was handled so I don't think he would want to.  Second is Tommy wanted to cut back at the time it happened.  I believe something was mentioned he was going to talk to the network about that topic and slide into retirement.  (no pun intended) So I don't think he would want to come back fulltime.

Yeah the issue was the way it was handled. Tastless way to go about it, not just by the Marlins by the Fox Sports.

Can anyone else chime in here? Why would someone bring that part up unless it was to mock it? You could've said Tom Koehler. But twice now you led into it with that, there's a reason you did it.
