February 18, 20188 yr I can’t imagine Dickerson not getting traded in seven days. Even with his really poor second half split he still has something to offer at a reasonable rate. Seems TB saw this as a swap for Crohn who will play first where the departed Morrison was last year. Definitely a salary dump but there is a sliver of logic to it. Even if it did come down to waivers he probably wouldn’t make it to the Marlins unless my perception of him as a player is way out of whack

While I agree with your remark if the Rays FO has struggled to move him thus far I question Hills ability to move him for anything this summer
