DTrain
is there a single guy the marlins traded for that is performing well or having an impact? It's all the guys that were already on the team. Imagine JT, Bour, Brian Anderson (3b), Rojas with Dee and our all star OF from last year. this team would be above .500 right now And that’s without adding any pieces

Don't get me wrong, I wish we could've done that, but shy of having an owner that's willing to buy a pitching staff, and able to absorb likely $100M+ in losses over the next few years while build organizational depth, it just wasn't feasible. pollythewog
That team would still suck. disagree. Starting pitching ERA has been 4.67 and that's with a buncha scrubs and no additions. Also, they keep trotting losers like tazawa and ziegler out there because they're hoping they can trade them at the deadline for something. And if you're going to blame this front office for guys they traded, they should also get credit for getting Caleb Smith (our best starter) for nothing. Furthermore, the outfielders that we traded haven't been spectacular if you're playing results. Ozuna's actually been downright terrible. Had we kept the same core, we'd be...maybe playing .500? Keep in mind that Brian Anderson wouldn't be playing (because there would be no spot...they weren't going to bench Prado's salary), and Starlin Castro (the return for Stanton) has a 0.6 WAR so it's not as if you're getting zero production out of that. This team was bad last year with all of those core players having career years. Thus far, Stanton hasn't played at an MVP level, Yelich missed time with injury, and Ozuna's been awful. I don't see how we're much better if you're playing early season results. All in all, the pitching would still suck.

THRILLHO
That’s an incredible stat lol. Most by any reliever on the marlins. I should have specified that
