Frisaro insists it's 2020

Featured Replies

I'm actually with Joe on this one. I think this team can be pretty good in 2020. Maybe not necessarily World Series contenders but still a chance to make waves in the baseball world.

I dislike Frisaro in the last off-season because he insists the rebuilding was the only choice to this team but I like him now because he insists this team would be contends again after three years,it's really weird.

And that's why it shows that rebuilding was the right choice. By doing that we're closer to contending than if we hadn't done that.

make up your mind man, besides u should know this you're from the future

There isn’t an organization in the league that would give someone ten years to rebuild.  That’s a failure.   If the FO makes good decisions then I agree with Joe timeline.

If the Marlins don’t make the playoffs by 2021, there will be 37 people in the stands on weeknight games.

Yeah, but that won't be counting the 15,000 tickets they gave away to have 10,000 people actually show up....

To have 5,000 of those pay $25 for parking to see the god damn Portland Ducks.

I think 2020 isn't out of reach. We have a few holes right now. If we sign Profar to a long term deal in the off season. And Guys like Miller, Dunand, Harrison, Diaz, Brinson. All turn out we won't have a bad lineup. Then our Pitching staff. Between who we have up and who we have in the minors its not unreasonable to imagine that in 2 years we have a bunch of 2's in the majors. I'm not sure we are going to be good enough to win the division. But I don't think we will be out of the running for a wild card spot. More than likely I see us being where the Phils/Athletics are now. In that competitive limbo, they are good enough to compete, but not quite good enough to make a run for the division.

Pass.

He is 25, and is cheap. He can play a position we need. And has star potential. Also did I mention he is 25.

He's also not a free agent until 2021 so I'm not sure how we would sign him to a long term deal in the off season.

I'm confused. This is his third year of arbitration I thought he was a free agent. ugh. darn. I was excited I thought he would solve all our problems.

I think you overrate him. He hasn’t lived up to expectations thus far.

I think he will be good player when all is said and done. I love him and Gallo. Both there bats play, and Profar's glove plays well.
