Caleb Smith Diagnosed with Grade 3 lat strain

Recommended Posts

"Caleb Smith said Monday that he's considering season-ending surgery on his strained left lat.

He's likely done for the year even if he doesn't go under the knife after he was diagnosed with a Grade 3 left lat strain. Smith struggled in June to push his ERA up to 4.19, but he will finish the season with 88 strikeouts over 77 1/3 innings across 16 starts in his first year in the Marlins' rotation."
