So why is the USA made caps so hard to find? It's not like they aren't being made so why aren't they more readily available? There's a place in the US where these are being made so where are those sold? I just don't get why they're so rare.

because the US production of the Marlins cap for retail was done in china, the US production was for team issued only, but of course some US made makes their way to stores.

I was 100% sure the hats at the team store the day of being release were US made to my surprise everything was china ,checked Lids and HatClub and same result and I thought well my only way to get a us made is buying a game used at the team store during the season.

So the cheaper quality is for retail and the better quality is for the team. Sucks for us.

One more question... my new cap is Chinese made and has the bulbous crown so I'm definitely gonna want US made for the next authentic Marlins cap so how do I get it? What should I do or where should I look to get me a US made Marlins cap? Is it just a matter of luck finding one in a store one day?

what size do you wear?

If the person I know finds more or if I get update of a retailer having some, I will contact you thru IG.

Check your Lids once in a while, because HatClub got US made when they restock in 7 1/4 and size 8

What is the benefit to having a US one instead of a Vietnam one (mine says Vietnam on it)?

Plus cheaper rougher materials, US material is soft. Compare your 2012 material vs your 2019 and feel the diff

Yeah I looked through my caps and I have several US made caps so this Chinese situation seems fairly new right?

Not new ,since New Era switched from wool to Polyester in 2007. but the big boom I would say was in 2010 when the 4th of July hats were all chinese for retail

This is why I refuse to buy fitted hats anymore.

That’s the main reason I get low crowns. They hide the bubble look more if there is one but I find them better made most times.

They going all in on the black jerseys in these events.

Not surprised with community events but was already curious what they'll wear for FanFest. It's typically always home whites but they might go against the grain this year.
