Unveiling of new logos and uniforms

I meant 3 logos in one decade my b haha but still that’s a bit much for any franchise imo

Plenty of teams have had that many logo changes in that amount of time, a few teams have had more. With that said, if they plan on keeping this new logo longterm then there's nothing wrong with having this recent rebrand. Jeter and most importantly the fan base didn't fully embrace the 2012 logo change so I don't see anything wrong with new ownership trying to rebrand in their own new image. If this same ownership changes the logo again in the relatively near future then by all means give them shit over it but it's not like this ownership has done all 3 rebrands.

I came across this post in the creamer boards which is relevant to our rebrand.  I’m eager to see how our players use base layers to emphasize certain colores

I wish the Marlins would go with a blue base but all pics so far have shown black so it's almost guaranteed to be black on all uniforms barring any last minute changes.

I do expect some awesome blue accessories though, like cleats arm sleeves batting gloves shin guards etc.

Out of the gates that’s certainly the case.  Over the years though we could see some colores experimentation.

If the blue undershirts don't "exist" yet it might take longer though. Like, they'll never get a chance to wear them because it literally isn't an option available in their lockers. I do think more blue comes along in time though so you're right there.

Does anyone know if they put on numbers and letters for the new jerseys at the team store at the stadium? And if so, how much is it?

My mom got me the blue replica jersey and I hate replica jerseys so I’m going to exchange it for an authentic but for some reason you can only get Starlin Castro on fanatics.com.

They do, I had my nephews gift lettered. $40 for a kids replica, $60 to put the name on. FML. Might be $80- for a name for adults.

I don't believe they have the authentic jerseys in store though, last time I was there they only had the replicas.

When I went to the Team Store the day the new stuff came out I was told it would be $60 to have a name put on the back of an adult replica jersey.

Thats what I paid for a 2T lol

Wtf? You paid for customization and had them put "2T" on it? What a waste.

They wouldn't put #FookGeetah

Bad spelling that's why.

That's the poor kids name.

All my sister got was a gift basket, and I had to buy a jersey for the little tyke. Bet you Jalen Jeter didnt have to pay,.

The fitment of the hats are definitely off. Thank goodness I went to the Lids store instead to purchase mine. I had to go a size bigger. Wish they would have gone with the same type of fitment as they did with the 25th Anniversary hats which fit me perfect.

Also just purchased a Lewis Brinston shirt off MLB shop with a gift card I had left over, everything else was out of stock in size Large. They should have a Brian Anderson shirt.

From what I hear with hats, in general, is that they are made more cheaply and with less quality control, thus the sizing is often off from one hat to another.

Product of our society.  Buying a fitted hat in person is probably the wiser route in general.  You might get that hat thats sized as a 7 1/4 and is really a 7 1/8 because of poor QC.

Got one of the new 59fiftys for Christmas, it's a 7 1/2 like I always wear. It fits perfectly. I tried on other sizes as well and they all seemed pretty true: 7 3/8 was cutting off my brain circulation and 7 5/8 looked like a dumbo hat. The crown is a bit higher than I would prefer and I presume that's because it was made in China, I couldn't find one that was made in USA. In fact I've checked MLBshop, Lids and various fanatics sites and I'm not sure a USA-made 59fifty can be found anywhere. But all in all I'm very satisfied with the new hat.

I've never bought a low crown 5950 but the seemingly larger than normal crown on my new cap is making me wanna try a low crown on my next cap.

that hat is stupidly bad, sand paper material and helmet crown, makes you feel like this dude and start yelling : Ice Cold Beeer Heere

They have Anderson shirts at the team store at the park.  In blue, white and black (maybe gray too, don't remember).  I got a blue one.  There's a lot bigger selection of all sorts of merchandise at the team store than online.  They have a ton of different polos, tshirts, hats (all pink, all gray), "novelty" tshirts, mugs, etc. at the store that aren't listed online.  And they've even gotten a larger variety in the last week or two.  I didn't like any of the polos they had the day they did the new logo (they were like black or dark gray with stripes, which made the small left chest logo completely illegible - it was bad), but went back right before Christmas and they had new white and blue polos that looked great.

Ha!  I remember that guy.

The Fanatics store at Dolphin Mall is doing personalization for $45. Fair discount from the $60 at the ballpark.

Hmm.  Does it have a red drop shadow?

haha, I know, wrong company.
