...and put him at the top of the lineup.

CF Sierra

2B Villar

3B Anderson

1B Aguilar

LF Dickerson

SS Rojas

Then platoon Sanchez/Ramirez in RF, Joyce/Cooper at DH and Alfaro/Cervelli at catcher

Except Aguilar shoudl be the full time DH with Lew Diaz at 1b.

If Sierra plays every day, how is Brinson going to play?

Why so much hate on Brinson?  I get that he's been a bust so far but at this point you're basically rooting for the guy to fail.

I agree with the Sierra part.  I wouldn't platoon Sanchez.  Either he plays or goes back down.  Also, Cervelli is a nice back up catcher but that's it.  He can't hit enough to get that much playing time.  Alfaro needs to do the bulk of the catching.

Yeah - his at bats overall have been much better, he just hasn't been getting results, which is unfortunate, but is what it is.

I can go for the Sierra and JP comp but Villar and Luis? Ehhhh ... switch hitting second basemen with speed - I wish Villar had Castillo's patience. lol

Villar isnt even close to the same level of a player as Luis.

I really should have put "poor man's" before that statement

I think Mish also said it sounded like it might be a long stint on the DL. I guess we know why the Marlins were giving him inconsistent playing time even after he started showing signs of life. I'm thinking he's been struggling with cranky hammies for some time.
