10/7 - Marlins at Braves NLDS Game Two

Featured Replies

It's looking like we won't be mounting a comeback til the 8th, by that time it'll be too late. 0 runs from the team looks very likely now.

The only positive I can take from this is that if Pablo can hold them to two, we keep Anderson into the game late and hopefully get him tired out in the later innings like we did against Hendricks and Darvish

Nah, they'll go to their elite bullpen soon. We might not score any runs today.

You’re right, Anderson is not a 90-100 pitch starter.

You give him the whole left side then throw outside fastballs? How is he supposed to roll over on that? That’s how you get a double down the left field line that you should have caught for a double play

Weird fetish

honestly, almost. I love watching disastrous Zoom meetings, and Mattingly's bullpen usage is very similar to a disaster that you can see unfold step by step.

0-3 with 3 K since he said "They can't get me out"

Even if we lose, that in and of itself, is a win for me

Two runs against the top lineup in baseball shouldn’t feel like the game is over but it does. Really tells you how shitty this offense is

Also tells me how little faith you have in your team.

We’ve seen it enough times man. I’m not saying we can’t come back, but the feelings is that 2 runs seems like a mountain to climb and it’s been like that all season. I hope they make me look bad but what are the stats for games we’ve been losing after 6 innings?

I would love to ask Don Mattingly, "why is Corey Dickerson batting first?"

he's fast

he gets on base

he hits the ball hard

he swings left handed and the pitcher throws right handed

Just put the game on TV now, is it just me or is the crowd noise better today?

And how has the commentary been today compared to yesterday as far as bias?
