December 24, 200322 yr Miguel Cabrera homered, singled and drove in three runs during yesterday's Venezuelan Winter League action. Cabrera is batting .265 with two homers in nine games. Great Game yesterday, Nice to see he's doing OK. Just needs to get that Average up a little. I'd be happy If he could hit around .275 this year.

December 25, 200322 yr While they do want to win, they play in the winter league mostly to work on stuff. which is why I'm not to concerned with Ramons power numbers. We already know he has power, and he knows it too. So why work on something he already has? He probably trying to go the other way with hits and just trying to spread around some hits.

I think on his first 2 or 3 games the kid wanted to hit a home run at every at bat, he went 4-0 with 3 SO on his 1st or 2nd game. What I like about this kid is that he changes his approach and is able to adapt.
