God, Anderson sucks at 3B. He fields that ball on a shorthop yet brings the glove back. Everyone knows you work “through” a short hop. Just bad fielding fundamentals cause he was perfectly in place to catch it.

Another fielding fundamental mistake there as well, albeit less egregious than BA’s. He had two choices, come in and get it on the short hop or drop back and turn it into a long hop. He started in, then realized he was headed right toward an in-between hop and instead dropped back a little too late and awkwardly which caused the off balance throw. Granted, those top spin balls hit right at you are really tough, but he’s a big leaguer who should be making it look easy to those who’ve never REALLY played. For comparisons sake, you don’t see Miggy catch a ball like that. He’s smooth as butter
