I honestly expected someone to have signed by now lol.

Guess they are really committed to making it seem like no one talked during the lockout. They probably didn't talk with players, but I would be shocked if trades were not decided in secret.

Was looking at the schedule and wondering how they would work out replacing the first 7 games. Double headers against the Braves is easy enough. Rangers is a bit more complicated. I figure we'll end up playing them in the window of September 12th-15th which is just before they head to the Trop. We are also home at that time so it works out. Would have to relocate 3 games against the Phillies, but that won't be too hard. They would have to move 2 games against the A's, also not too bad. We shall see.

Yeah, if they announce the deal right after the lockout then the league would know they're talked during the lockout, maybe just show some respect to the league and maybe it's the reason Mish didn't tweet the rumors right after the lockout.

They are going to extend the season by 3 days so my guess is the Rangers series is the one tacked on at the end of the year.

Good point. Completely forgot that they are going to extend it. Was any team scheduled to not play a division opponent in the first week?

Turns out we did NOT leave the gas on and the stove does need to warm up.

Have no time to warm up, just igniting some gasoline.

I've got your hot stove right here.

The good news is that baseball people are finally waking up so we could probably get some moves to drop at any time now.
