I don't disagree. But he is a serviceable cf.

He is an actual Centerfielder.

Pirates knew enough to grab him if they want to trade Reynolds at some point this season.

Pirates signed Marisnick because they know Reynolds will be a Marlin soon.

@SonOfJack already completed all the trade negotiations with the Pirates in MLB The Show. Kim Ng just needs to submit the final proposal and it'll be done sooner than later.

Just your friendly morning reminder Aguilar, Soler, and Garcia make the same money as Correa.

Because the Marlins don't have Lewin, Bleday, and Burdick in AAA or anything, ignoring payroll would be high $70ms and they could sign a stopgap bat (Joc Pederson level) to bridge to those guys for cheap, plus still have all the assets to trade for a major CF (where Watson is more available now considering Correa would be a longterm SS).

Regardless, here we are and last day to get the CF. Unbelievable.

Just so everyone is aware, I went onto the show last night and selected Reynolds as my trade target and let the comp suggest a trade.  When you do this you have three options for what types of players to offer.  They are MLB players, Prospects, and All.  I tried prospects 1st and there were no plausible trades the Pirates would accept. I selected All next and happily traded Elieser Hernandez, Garrett Cooper, and Floro for Reynolds and never looked back. You all are welcome, I have brought our CF of the future for cheap!

This is just taking advantage of the continued dumb logic in MLB The Show when it comes to trades!

I traded Watson and Burdick for Reynolds.

Very unlikely that it means that.

They have no requirement to trade Reynolds.

They may not give him a long term extension but he's still got four years of club control, so they can just keep him around.

If anything it's showing Reynolds look, we are signing our other young guy for years outside of his arbitration so we are building a winner for you. Look at our farm. They will all be here life of contract to help.

Please sign this 6/$80 extension now.
