October 22, 20214 yr Kind of liked Hillman, but oh well. If a coach doesn't want to be with the team then they can kick rocks. Marlins definitely needed to get rid of several coaches anyway. Makes me wonder if he was let go instead but wanted to make it appear that he chose to leave. Don't know which would be worse for the Marlins PR.

"They didn't really like my philosophy of trying to get the runners IN scoring position but NOT actually scoring them. The team followed it pretty well but they say it didn't lead to success which, to me, just means it wasn't given enough time, really."

Sad that he left. Then we got Fredi back but he left too. Never liked Bo. Doubt Espada would want to come back after the success with the Astros.
