2022 Major League Baseball First-Year Player Draft

As bad as we have been with hitting development, this is probably the first year that I am completely unexcited about the draft. No matter what we do I am sure we will find a way to screw it up.

You're all laughing now, but will you be during his HOF speech?*

Note that the Marlins will trade him to get rid of Avi's contract about a year from now and he will never play for us...

College seniors are generally not good, if we're being honest. It's the draft eligible sophomores/juniors that you want.

Yeah.. Sorry I was trolling, I don't miss the Loria days of drafting 7 of them in the first 10 rounds to save cash.
