January 11, 20233 yr This just furthers my point that they should have signed Longoria to play third. I’m in agreement on trading Miggy, but I find the return odd. If he is a good player that’s major league ready, why wouldn’t the dodgers just rely on him for next season? His stats look decent enough, but yeah, confused why either team felt the need to make the trade.
January 11, 20233 yr This tells me Rojas wasn't worth much. Amaya sounds like depth for now and not a guy who makes the team on Opening Day... making this look like a clearing of both a roster spot for Cueto and an infield spot for Segura and specificially SS for Jazz. In that sense it's fine as a housekeeping move but there's no chance this is their answer to adding to the big league lineup.

I assume they still want him and in theory, both him and Miggy Ro can be traded. Thus far it has seemed like the Red Sox don't want to meet the asking price though to get Wendle + SP if you believe the rumors.

Only issue with trading Wendle is then we need to address yet another position as 3B would be vacant.

January 11, 20233 yr I really want to see Jazz at SS. I always felt that gets the most value out of him. I'd still trade Wendle and go Groshans, Jazz and Segura at 2b, SS, 3b.
