    Imagine promoting seeing Jazz vs his former team and then not having him in the lineup.

    It's the unwritten rule that I just wrote that says that opposing teams can have no more than one additional Z in their starting lineup than the other team. So for example if the Diamondbacks had just one player with a Z in their lineup the Marlins could only have a maximum of two players with a Z and so on.

    Since the Diamondbacks have 0 players with a Z in their starting lineup, the Marlins can only have one Z for this game. And of course because it's the Marlins they picked De La Cruz.
