Name calling and other things

Featured Replies

Just curious if any of you lads tend to get called a specific name by random people you encounter out in the real world.  I'm not talking about being called an asshole, etc. - an example would be getting called "Boss" (not because you are that person's boss though) by random strangers like waiters, clerks, even baggers at grocery stores.  I get called "boss" constantly for some reason unbeknowst to myself and it drives the wife insane for some reason.  It's just one of those things - that and people seem to LOVE to approach me to talk to me about random shit even though I'm a total introvert in real life and it makes for very awkward scenarios.

Anyway, is there some random quirk in life that you find happening to you or someone you know over and over?  A certain name they frequently get called, a type of person that seems drawn to them over and over?

Well, a few times random co workers I don’t really know have said to me “Hey what’s up, big guy?!” And random Spanish speakers on the street have called me “grande”.

At first I took it as a compliment and thought “wow, they must think I’m really buff and swole, that one week of workouts I did last year must be really paying off, all right!!!!”

But lately as my waistline keeps expanding I’m starting to think that maybe they’re calling me “big guy” for other reasons.

Wogs get teabagged by the Braves. I wouldn't go bragging about that.
