The Floro implosion really hurt this team

Featured Replies

This team is in desperate need of a reliable high leverage righty.

If Puk would have held his ground at closer, Robertson would have been the perfect right handed fireman in this pen.

Chargois and Brazoban aren’t it either.

it’s unfortunate Skip learned one loss too late Lopez needs to be banished too. How in the world do you feel more comfortable with him than Nardi or Soriano in that situation? Yikes

This team is done. I was optimistic for a while but the SP is out of gas and the bullpen is ill equipped to handle that. We'll probably finish the season under .500 but it was one hell of a run. Hopefully the pitchers take another step forward next year, and Sandy doesn't suck for half the season. We need to shore up the bullpen in the off-season and trade the farm for a catcher and shortstop and just go.

You also have to wonder even if they somehow miraculously make the playoffs are the additional games going to tax the arms even more causing issues into next season when it's clear now that this year ain't it.

I think this team sneaks in at 85 wins. Win a series against bad teams. Win at least one against good teams. 63-59 now. 85-77 wild card. Book it, Dan o.

They gonna get swept by doyers m8

Maybe. But we’re talking 1-2 extra starts at the most, unless they make it to the LCS, in which case it’s totally worth it.

Yeah, I don't know why we didn't get some sort of pitcher at the deadline, when it's been quite obvious it's what we need.

Kim seems to target/acquire what we need a year after everyone else knows what we need.
