Meaning that regardless of how the season goes Skip was on the way out from the get go, probably since Bendix was hired that might have been the plan all along.

And it says they agreed to it which sounds like it was requested, so Skip must've asked for it. Would be weird to void a club option anyway if it was their choice, since it was their option.
