April 11, 20242 yr Did the Herald article make any reference to who leaked this Skip news? Mish says Skip is very private and wouldn't have wanted that info to get out. Did the team let it out on purpose to make him look bad?

Also 1/2 is half? how is that confusing? 1 to 2 or first and second or top 2 would be the way to interpret that! come on man! 🤣🤣 As pointed out, 1) who says "top 1/2 GM", 2) not written like a normal fraction.

April 13, 20242 yr Listened to his press conference last night and man the marlins beat writers/reporters ask the softest easiest questions. I know they’re all like 22 trying to make it in that world but still

They absolutely want to ask more difficult questions (got my sources on that one) but they want to be allowed back into the room as well. It's unfortunate. Media can't properly do their job due to fragile egos.

Evidently being a phony and asking easy softball questions to keep those credentials is worth it to some people though.

The team was blown out 8-1, are line 2-13, haven’t won a game at home but you’d think everything fine abd dandy

This gets into a different topic, but media in general these days doesn't seem very objective........if the media likes whatever person/group it is, they get softball questions, but if they don't, you get the screws tightened on you, rather than asking the same questions of everyone to cover news in general. It's a shame that real questions can't be asked to get actual answers. Let's be honest, though.....even if real questions were asked, we'd get the generic "we're all working hard and hope to see results soon, we trust the FO, blah blah blah"........aka Michael Hill answers where he talks a lot and doesn't say anything.
