May 29, 20242 yr Glass Chisholm for JR Richard, Nacho Alvarez Jr., and Drue Hackenberg. Any chance we could get this return? They are desperate for another OF. I'm sure there will be 15 nacho jokes as replies so save your breath.

May 29, 20242 yr Author you are one of the diehards sir. value your opinion even if I disagree with it. I wish you were as funny as you think you are. one day i'll buy beers at a marlin game. will probably be in Vegas though since i've already been to that hellhole in Phoenix, lol. obviously we aren't winning this year, but next year is feasible if bendix pulls a miracle ng trade or I buy the team. your call.

I'm going to assume your phone autocorrected JR Ritchie to JR Richard there but I don't think there's a snowflakes chance in hell (or Phoenix since it's a hellhole after all) that the Braves would part with that package of players. Would I take it? Absolutely. Jokes aside Nacho has a decent hit skill and plays plus defense at SS so I'd probably be happy with just him and another prospect somewhere further down the list. I also like they aren't all guys who are already 25 and just breaking into AA ball which is what we seem to like trading for. But no, I don't see the Braves giving us two of these guys let alone all 3 - especially for Jazz.

I can say I love living here FAR more than I did with 20 years of living in Florida. That's the real hellhole and I hope I never have to move back there.

Personally, I love South Florida and the weather is a big part of it. I love living near the ocean and the beaches. I'll take this humidity over the cold any day. We have maybe 2 weeks a year where the weather is under 50 degrees? I can play golf year round. I can use my pool year round. It's just my preference. I understand why you don't like it though.

I mean I did spend the first nearly 30 years of my life living in humidity and I never got used to it and I craved the two weeks or so a year when it would actually be comfortable enough to open windows and not have the AC set to 68. I had a childhood friend that I've known since I was 5 recently move here from Tampa after living most of his life in Florida as well all because of the humidity. He just got tired of it lol. I also love mountains and couldn't care less about a beach. So between that, humidity, and the awful traffic that has only gotten worse post-covid years? Yeah, no brainer of a decision for me to stay the hell away from there! P.S. as someone who also wears prescription glasses - i really enjoy not having my glasses fog up every single time i leave an air conditioned room to venture outside. Finally, I dont have to deal with mosquitos here either lol - like, at all. It's glorious! Edited June 3, 20242 yr by hovertical
